Facts of the Case


The accused had attended a post-debutante ball party with his girlfriend. A fight broke out, in which the accused's girlfriend was hit. The accused approached the aggressor, who hit him on his ear, which had recently been operated on. The accused retaliated and stabbed him in the back.

Results Achieved


The accused was fined $1000 and placed on a community based order (CBO) with the condition that he be supervised by the Office of Corrections for 12 months. No community work was ordered.
