The Magistrate heard submission about this lady's tragic personal circumstances, which led to drug use, and subseqent offending. She had made huge efforts to stabilize her life. The Magistrate was pursuaded that exceptional circumstances were made out, and that to restore the suspended sentences would be unjust in the circumstances. No order was made on those sentences. On all other charges, she was placed on a 12 month Community Based Order, to complete 75 hours community work. On the charge of drive whilst disqualified, she was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment, whoilly suspended for 9 months.
