According to VIC Law for the charge of Contempt of court,

Common law. It is an offence for a person to engage in an action, or inaction amounting to interference with the due administration of justice.   

The Maximum Penalty - Contempt of court

According to VIC Law for the charge of Contempt of court,
 6 months imprisonemnt or 25 penalty units

What the Police must prove according to VIC Law for Contempt of court

 1. That a person was in a Court room;

2. They acted in a way which interfered in the due administration of justice.
