Facts of the Case


The client was charged with 4 breaches of an Intervention Order, criminal damage charges, and assualt charges. The affected person was her mother. The assault charges were on both her mother and police. This offending breach a Community Based Order she was on for similar, assault type charges. The client had a significant prior history, with convictions for similar type offending.

Results Achieved


After hearing lengthy submission, the Magistrate was ultimately persuaded to impose wholly suspended term of imprisonment on all charges, including the breach of Community based Order. She was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment, wholly suspended for a period of 12 months.
